By using Darussalam Digital products (ShieldBN, WebShield) or services, you agree to these terms. If you are using our products on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
ShieldBN is an on-device cybersecurity monitoring tool for macOS. It scans your system for threats and security misconfigurations. It runs locally and does not require an internet connection for core functionality.
WebShield is an enterprise fleet management platform. It allows organisations to monitor multiple devices from a centralised admin console using lightweight agents deployed on each endpoint.
All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends without charge. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
You agree to use our products only for lawful purposes, specifically for monitoring and protecting devices you own or are authorised to manage. You may not:
ShieldBN and WebShield agents require macOS 12 (Monterey) or later and Node.js v18+. Some security features require appropriate system permissions (Full Disk Access, network monitoring).
Our products provide security monitoring and alerting. They do not guarantee prevention of all security incidents. Darussalam Digital is not liable for damages resulting from security breaches, data loss, or system failures. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Starter plans receive email support. Business plans receive priority support. Enterprise plans include a dedicated account manager. Support is available during Brunei business hours (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm BST).
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months. To cancel, email support@darussalamdigital.com or manage your subscription through Stripe.
These terms are governed by the laws of Brunei Darussalam. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Brunei Darussalam.

The Personal Data Protection Order (PDPO) 2025 is Brunei Darussalam's data protection legislation, administered by AITI. It establishes rules for the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal data by organisations operating in Brunei.
We collect only what is necessary to provide our services. Our security products scan system-level telemetry (network connections, processes, firewall states) — never personal files, messages, browsing history, or credentials.
Any data collected through our website forms (name, email, phone) is used solely to respond to your enquiry or provide the service you requested. It is never used for marketing to third parties.
WebShield fleet reporting is strictly opt-in. No device data is transmitted unless an administrator explicitly configures and deploys the agent. Device users should be informed by their organisation that monitoring is active.

WebShield fleet data is retained for 90 days by default. Organisations can configure shorter retention periods. Website form submissions are retained for 12 months or until you request deletion.
